Details
Known as the 'Hemicudzter,' this custom 1970 'Cuda has undergone a frame-off rotisserie restoration with no expense spared and is absolutely stunning. It was the 2007 SEMA Mopar Top Eliminator award winner by Chrysler. It has won many awards, including Goodguys Mighty Muscle Pick, Mopar Muscle Pick and Best Bitchin'. It has been featured in multiple magazines, including Super Rod, Mopar Action and Mopar Magazine. This car was restored over a five-year period. The exterior fit and finish of the
body is beautiful in every regard. The black and silver paint is divided by a thin green pinstripe, with carbon-fiber stripes on the hood. The highly detailed engine compartment and undercarriage are painted green, matching the pinstripe. Every nut and bolt is chrome or stainless. The engine is a Stanton 6.1-liter HEMI. Every part of this powerhouse has been painted or polished. TTI headers and Spintech mufflers sound great through side-exiting NASCAR-style exhaust and boom tubes, all ceramic-coated. The engine is cooled by a BeCool aluminum radiator with dual fans. The HEMI is backed by Keisler/Tremec TKO 5-speed transmission with hydraulic clutch. A custom, precision fit, removable roadster hardtop was custom fabricated, and the necessary steps were taken to maintain the body rigidity. Some refined exterior custom upgrades include all-new glass flush-mounted with modern rubber, front and rear bumpers integrated into the body, custom grille, chin spoiler and rocker extensions, LED headlight and taillights. Door handles, emblems and marker lights are all shaved. 20' bonspeed Huntington wheels wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport II tires. Wilwood 13' disc brakes at all four wheels. The custom interior was done by 2010 Street Machine of the Year interior winner Dan Weber. The exterior color theme is carried throughout the leather interior. The handmade dash, smoothed door panels and headliner can be appreciated from the Corbeau bucket seats. The sweeping leather console follows into the rear. Some interior custom upgrades include Auto Meter Phantom II gauges, Flaming River polished tilt column and steering wheel, double roll bar, power windows, remote doors, Air Ride Tech panel and Hurst pistol-grip shifter. It has a JVC stereo with four Rockford Fosgate speakers, and two 12' subs with a 1,200-watt amplifier. The trunk compartment is wrapped in matching black leather and houses the stainless fuel cell while hiding the Optima battery.
