Lot 655 - 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Custom Coupe_EngineBuilding a great Resto-Mod is about combining classic style with new technology, wrapped together with a little flair, which this 1969 Camaro (Lot #655) embodies perfectly. Powered by a modified LS1, this former Super Chevy magazine cover car offers the best of modern performance with old-school style. Equipped with GM Stage 3 aluminum heads, a COMP Cam and even a 150-horsepower shot of nitrous, power is no problem for this Camaro

To back up the engine and handle the power is a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a 9-inch Ford rear end with a Strange Engineering center section. Helping the car handle the corners is a set of coilovers shocks along with upgraded spindles and control arms, and bringing everything to a stop are Wilwood disc brakes, all rolling on a custom set of Billet Intro wheels.

Lot 655 - 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Custom Coupe_interiorThe exterior has been beautifully painted in House of Kolor Ketchme Kopper paint, complete with custom flames extending into the engine bay. The matching interior has been completely reupholstered with two-tone leather seats and a custom full-length center console. A custom-made dash houses a set of Auto Meter gauges, and the trunk has been upholstered to match the rest of the interior.

This car doesn’t just have the performance of a modern car; it has the comfort, too, with air conditioning, tilt steering wheel, upgraded stereo and power windows. A truly no-expense-spared build, not only is this a magazine cover star, but also a Popular Hot Rodding Top 10 winner that will be crossing the 2018 Barrett Jackson Northeast Auction at No Reserve.
